• DIET: Fish

• NOTES: Also known in America as Red Throated Loon. Slender beak with characteristic beak held up as photograph 01 above. Red patch to front of neck in summer. Bird of passage moving southward during N. hemisphere summer. Comparatively rare. Nests beside water.
